The richness and caveat of Pisces

Okay, so this is gonna be my first publich dip into Astrology. If you are not a fan, bare with me and let me tell you – there’s more to it than meets the eye. Even the 12 sun sign distinction can give you some insight into what’s happening in your life and what your character is about.

But take it easy, give it a try if you want to, otherwise simply move on. In earlier years I had my share of reservations against Astrology (in particular the seemingly simplistic) sun sign system as well. So I understand if you shake your head in disbelief πŸ˜‰

For a start, I am gonna keep this simple. If you find this foray interesting, just let me know. Then I’ll see when I can come up with some new ideas and insights.

So what I was pondering about is the complexity of my sun sign Pisces. I was scrolling through the weekly sun sign forecast and even if the lines about Pisces resonated deeply with me – I also found myself in some aspects of the other signs (rather more than I would like to to be honest, being Pisces seems challenging).

I previously heard about the notion that we as a soul and human being – over multiple reincarnations – want to find out how it is like to be each specific sun sign. And that in culmination we then incarnate as Pisces. I don’t know whether this is true, but I can’t deny the feeling that there is something about this …

So, considering this idea, when we finally incarnate as Pisces, our essence already carries all the qualities of the previous sun signs (Pisces is the 12th and final sign in the Zodiac). These combined qualities might be more subtle, but they are present.

A quick check on Google brought me this page, where it says

The last sign of the zodiac has a universal element about it. It is the culmination of all the signs and it is something more than the sum of it’s parts.

Edward Cannell

So I am not the only one who has this feeling. And let me tell you, “more than the sum of it’s parts” is exactly what I feel right now. It’s not 100% but a lot more .. and this is sometimes hard to handle. What I mean to say is, I don’t think Pisces is superior to the other sun signs. It’s just different – with its share of up- and downsides, quite a challenge in my opinion.

Do you feel the same? What are your thoughts about sun signs or Astrology in general? As always, I’d love to hear from you, if you are brave enough to share your experiences and thoughts. πŸ™‚ I won’t bite … I promise.

Take care and goodbye for now, Sebastian

  1. Well it feels like being superior in terms of vision, depth, spiritual knowledge.
The most tricky thing is to not feel superiour when confronted with the superficialty of other signs cause that would severe us from all the others. This is not the goal. The quality of Pisces to love unconditionally beyond the personal realm is not recognized by society and makes it very painful to experience the missing knowledge of “others”. In a dualistic world Pisces really have a hard time while they can dwell on the richness of their inner world.

  2. Hello Ottmar.

Thanks for your comment and the hint towards the danger of feeling superior. Let me share some thoughts on this.

First, this shouldn’t come across in a superior way, if it did, excuse me. πŸ™‚ I felt that way for a long time my life and I am shedding that right now. I have written about this here: https://aboutushumans.com/2019/03/16/embrace-the-variety-of-creation/ Do you think this feeling of superiority is a Pisces thing? I find many people do that independent of their sun sign.

Second, I totally don’t feel that Pisces are better, they are just different. My father for example is Taurus and he is WAY more grounded than I am. I just feel that I share some qualitites of Tauraus, but he is the stronger one. So I can empathize with other sun signs (because I share their qualitites to some extent), but when strong Taurus qualities are needed … I am the wrong person πŸ˜‰

And last, I wrote “caveat” in the title of this post, because I really feel that being Pisces is NOT easy. πŸ™‚ It’s like in school. First graders have some difficulties, but they have less stuff being pushed into their heads. When you are in 12th grade, your mind is REALLY busy (but you are not superior to a first grader). That’s how I feel, my mind is very occupied with lots of things. πŸ™‚

If you have any more questions, please comment again.

    Thanks, Sebastian
